The Wifi4EU network is an open public network for Internet access. The Municipality of Mortágua and the European Commission are not responsible for any damage or loss resulting from access to this network or from its unavailability.

For your security, the network user must take into account the best practices for internet access, of which the following stand out:

• Access websites only through secure connections. The addresses of sites with secure access start with https: // (for example: https://www.cm-mortagua.pt);
• Access only trusted sites and always be wary of unreliable content (on websites or emails);
• If you use applications to access email via POP3 or IMAP protocols, make sure that they establish secure connections to the server using SSL or TLS encryption protocols;
• Disable file sharing on your computer;
• Make sure that your equipment is up-to-date, having all the security fixes installed;
• Make sure that your device has an antivirus installed and updated.
